The training program is the first required step in becoming a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator. Here's a resource that answers many questions about the overall process.

Does the Florida Supreme Court recognize your training programs for certification as a Mediator? Yes, all our training programs meet the training requirements for Florida Supreme Court Certification as a Mediator.
What is the difference between the training programs? Family mediation training is for mediations in Family court, which includes divorce and paternity cases. Circuit mediation training is for mediations in civil cases in Circuit court where the amount in dispute is over $50,000. County mediation training is for mediations in civil cases in County court where the amount in dispute is less than $50,000. County mediation training is also appropriate for professionals who are interested in learning basic information about Alternative Dispute Resolution and are looking to improve their mediation, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
